Add DNS records at Tucows OpenSRS

These are the steps for Tucows OpenSRS. For what the records do and how to check the setup afterwards, see Subdomain setup.

Datahash tells you which record type to use and gives you the values. Enter the values you were given.

  1. In the reseller control panel, search for the domain and click it.

  2. Click Edit under the nameservers section.

  3. Choose Use Your Own Nameservers, enter one nameserver value, and click Save.

You will have been given four nameserver values. Repeat the last two steps until all four records exist. A delegation with one of the four missing looks complete in the reseller control panel and does not resolve.

The published guidance for Tucows OpenSRS covers NS records only. If Datahash has asked you for a CNAME record, follow the general steps and look for the DNS record editor rather than the nameserver fields above.
