Add DNS records at Rebel

These are the steps for Rebel. For what the records do and how to check the setup afterwards, see Subdomain setup.

Datahash tells you which record type to use and gives you the values. Follow the matching section below and enter the values you were given.

Adding NS records

1. Sign in to Rebel, click My Account and select Domain Manager.

2. Click the domain name to open its editing page.

3. Select the DNS tab.

4. Scroll to Manage Advanced DNS Records and click Advanced DNS Manager.

5. Click Add New Record, set the Record Type to NS, enter one nameserver value, and click the green Save button.

You will have been given four nameserver values. Repeat the last two steps until all four records exist. A delegation with one of the four missing looks complete in the Advanced DNS Manager and does not resolve.

Adding a CNAME record

1. Sign in to Rebel, click My Account, then Domain Manager, then the domain name.

2. Select the DNS tab, scroll to Manage Advanced DNS Records and click Advanced DNS Manager.

3. Click Add New Record, set the Record Type to CNAME, paste the value you were given, and click the green Save button.
