- Overview
Accounts, projects & roles
Datahash Studio has two levels: the account, and the projects inside it.
Accounts
Section titled “Accounts”An account is your organization in Studio. It holds your company profile and your billing relationship, and it contains one or many projects. Where an organization runs consolidated billing, that is set at the account level and applies across the projects underneath it.
Creating an account takes three steps: Account Information, Billing Information, and a Verification Code.
Projects
Section titled “Projects”The project is the tenancy unit. Sources, destinations, connections and field mappings all belong to a project, and data does not cross between projects.
Creating a project takes three steps: Project Details, Review Billing Details, and Make Payment. A plan is chosen during project creation, and that determines what the project is billed for.
If you work across more than one project, you can switch between them within Studio.
Adding people
Section titled “Adding people”To add someone, send them an invite. They open the email and sign up to the platform, and they then have the same access as everyone else on the project.
Signing in
Section titled “Signing in”Three methods are available:
- A one time password sent to your email address, which needs no password.
- Sign in with Google, using the Google account that matches your Studio email address.
- Your email address and password.
Where to go next
Section titled “Where to go next”- Quickstart to set up your first connection inside a project.
- Connecting sources & destinations for how connections are managed.
- Core concepts & terminology for the rest of the vocabulary.
