Option 1 : Google Tag Manager Implementation with NeoTag

This guide will help you set up the Neotag.js script SDK developed by Datahash to capture website events and user data.After implementing Neotag (or DhPixel) in your Tag Manager, click Finish in Datahash. The system will verify the setup and send you an update via email or notification once the data starts flowing.

Neotag Implementation Steps
  1. Log in to Google Tag Manager
    • Go to Google Tag Manager and log in with your account.
  2. Create a New Tag
    • In Google Tag Manager, go to Tags and click New.In Tag Manager Go to Tags, click New.

  3. Select Tag Type
    • Choose Custom HTML as the tag type.
    • Copy the Neotag base code from your Datahash dashboard and paste it into the HTML field.
  4. Save the Tag
    • Name your tag appropriately (e.g., Neotag Base Script).
    • Click Save.Click Save, then Submit and Publish your GTM changes.Select Custom HTML as a tag type and put copied base code (Copy the Neotag base code from Datahash dashboard) here.  


      Paste the Neo-Tag code in the Custom HTML tag being created and hit save.
  5. Set Up Event Tracking
    • To track specific events (e.g., Meta events), create a new tag.
    • Implement the relevant event code in the tag.
    • Assign a specific event trigger (e.g., Page View, Button Click).
  6. Save and Publish
    • Click Save, then Submit and Publish your GTM changes.

Verification:
Once your setup is complete, Datahash will automatically verify the implementation. You will receive an email or in-app notification once event data starts flowing.
