Meta Click-to-Message Ads
Click-to-message ads, measured to the sale.
Meta's click-to-WhatsApp, click-to-Instagram, and click-to-Messenger ads start conversations. Datahash sends the downstream outcomes (reply, qualified conversation, order, payment) back to Meta as conversion events, so campaigns optimize on business results rather than message opens.

WHAT THIS ENABLES

- One measurement setup covering WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger conversations from a single ad objective.
- Instagram DM selling and Messenger lead qualification optimized on outcomes, not opened threads.
- Message-first campaigns judged on orders and qualified conversations the way web campaigns are judged on purchases.

WHAT FLOWS WHERE
One use case, every source.
A message ad opens a WhatsApp, Instagram, or Messenger conversation, Signals captures the click reference and hashes the contact, then posts each milestone to Meta's Conversions API.

What ships with this offering.
WhatsApp: the deepest integration, with full detail on the WhatsApp CAPI page.
Instagram: DM-driven selling for retail and beauty; outcomes flow through the same CAPI pipe.
Messenger: service and lead use cases; qualified-conversation events are the signal that matters.

Questions your team will ask.
Do we need the WhatsApp Business API for CTWA measurement?
For downstream events, yes. Click events alone work without it, but measuring only the ad click tells you a conversation started, not whether it led to a reply, a qualified conversation, or an order. The WhatsApp Business API, or a BSP built on it, is where those conversation and conversion signals originate, and Datahash reads from it to complete the measurement loop.
Can one setup cover all three channels?
Yes. The destination is Meta's Conversions API in all three cases, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger, so one pipeline and one dataset cover the whole click-to-message family. The source differs per channel: WhatsApp reads from the Business API, while Instagram and Messenger events come from your messaging platform or CRM. Datahash configures each source once and routes all three to the same endpoint.
