    Data localization is a legal requirement that data about a country’s residents be stored or processed within that country’s borders. A growing number of jurisdictions impose some form of it, and for a data pipeline it is an architectural constraint rather than a policy footnote, because it shapes where servers sit, where processing happens, and which deployment model is even permissible. A marketing stack that moves personal data across borders to reach ad platforms has to reconcile that flow with localization rules, which can mean region-locked hosting, in-country processing, or a deployment that keeps the pipeline inside a chosen boundary. Datahash Core is the deployment model built for exactly this, keeping pipelines within a defined region so localization requirements are met without giving up activation. The point to hold onto is that localization is decided at the infrastructure layer, and it is far cheaper to design for at the start than to retrofit once data is already flowing across borders.
