Implement Google Ads Enhanced Conversions with Taghash

‘Enhanced Conversions’ improves the accuracy of your conversion measurement capabilities and unlocks powerful bidding. It supplements your existing conversion tags by sending hashed first-party conversion data from your website to Google in a privacy-first way. The feature uses a secure one-way hash algorithm called SHA256 on your first-party customer data before sending it to Google.

After you have Signed-up with Taghash, you can implement Google Ads with Taghash in the steps below:  

Customer ID:

  1. Select Google Enhanced Conversions in your Taghash Dashboard and click on Sign in with Google.

Only users with Google Ads Standard/Admin access can do this step.

2. Provide the access to the account by clicking Continue.

3. Enter the Customer ID and click on Validate and Finish.

The Customer ID is the that of the Google Ads account where all Google Ad Conversions are present.

Finding Customer ID:

  1. Login to your Google Ads Account.
  2. Open the account where you want to implement Google Ads Enhanced Conversions.

This can be a 'My Client Centre' (MCC) account or any client account. Take the 'Customer Id' of the account where your Google Ad Conversions are present.

Access Sharing:

  1. Login to your Google Ads Account.
  2. Click on Tools & settings and open Access & Security.

3. Click on the ‘Add’ button.
