Option 6: Set up AWS S3 as Data Destination for Meta Lead Ads

Description  

Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service) is a highly scalable cloud object storage solution from AWS. Using this connector in Datahash, you can export Meta Lead Ads data directly to your specified S3 bucket for secure storage, further processing, or integration with other tools.

Prerequisites  

Before starting, ensure you have:

  • S3 Bucket Name – Unique identifier for your S3 storage
  • S3 Bucket Access Key – AWS access key ID with write permissions to the bucket
  • S3 Bucket Secret – AWS secret access key
  • Relative Path to Data Folder – (optional) Folder path/prefix where the files will be stored

Setup Instructions  

  1. Login to Datahash
  2. Select AWS S3 as Destination
    • Navigate to Files category under Destinations
    • Click on the AWS S3 connector tile

3. Select Source

  • Choose Meta Lead Ads as the source type
  • Select the connection name from your existing Meta Lead Ads Source
  • Provide a name for this connection

4. Set Export Frequency

  • Choose from: Realtime, 1 hour, 3 hours, or 1 day
  • Click Next


5. Enter AWS S3 Credentials

  • S3 Bucket Name
  • S3 Bucket Access Key
  • S3 Bucket Secret
  • Relative Path to folder (if blank, files go to bucket root)

6. Validate & Confirm

  • Click Validate Credentials
  • If successful, you’ll see the generated file path and file name

7. Folder & File Structure

  • Datahash will create:
    • Datahash folder inside your specified path (or root if no path given)
    • A subfolder named after your lead ads connection
    • Files will be stored with timestamps for easy tracking

8. Complete Setup

  • Click Finish
  • The new connection will appear in your dashboard
  • The new connection will appear in your dashboard

Managing Instances  

Add a New Instance  

  • Click Edit icon in Manage Connections
  • Repeat the setup process with new parameters
  • Click Finish
  • The new instance will be listed in the Manage Existing Connections table.

Edit an Existing Instance  

Click the connection name in Manage Existing Connections

  • Click Edit (top right)
  • Update credentials, export frequency, or path
  • Click Validate CredentialsFinish
     (If Cancel is clicked, existing settings remain unchanged)
