Step 1: Set up LinkedIn Lead Generation Ads as Data Source for Leads

Description

LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms allow advertisers to capture high-quality leads directly from LinkedIn ads. The forms are automatically pre-filled with profile data (e.g., name, email, company, job title), making it easy for members to share their information and for advertisers to streamline lead collection.

Prerequisites

  • A valid LinkedIn account
  • Access to a LinkedIn Ads Manager account

Getting Started

  1. Log in to Datahash
  2. Navigate to Sources
    • From the left-side menu, go to Sources → Lead Generation
    • Click on the “LinkedIn” connector tile.
  3. Authenticate with LinkedIn
    • Click Sign in with LinkedIn
    • Grant permission by clicking Allow
    • You will be redirected back to the Datahash dashboard.
  4. Datahash will now fetch your LinkedIn Ads accounts and their associated pages and lead forms.
  5. Configure the Connection
    • Provide a name for the connection
    • Select the LinkedIn Ad Account you want to pull data from
    • Select the Lead Form from which the leads will be collected
  6. Validate and Finish
    • Click Test Connection to ensure the setup works
    • Preview the sample data fetched from the selected form
    • Click Finish to complete the setup
  7. The new LinkedIn Lead Ads source will now appear in your dashboard.

Managing Connections

Adding a New Instance

  • In the Manage Connections section, click Add New Instance
  • Repeat the setup steps (selecting account, form, etc.)
  • Test the connection and click Finish
  • The new instance (e.g., Ads Connection 2) will now appear in your list

Editing an Existing Instance

  • In the Manage Connections table, click on the connection name
  • Click the Edit icon (top right) to enable edit mode
  • Update the desired fields
  • Test the connection to confirm changes
  • Click Finish to save updates

    Note: If you cancel during editing, the existing configuration will remain unchanged. Updates only apply after clicking Finish.
